My Book Treasures

This is the beginning of my blog about books that I treasure, books that interest me and hopefully you.

Old Black Witch and The Knobby Boys to the Rescue by Wende and Harry Devlin were my first storybooks. I read them over and over again. I still have them. They are in a well loved condition.  Harvey"s Hideout By Russell Hoban with pictures by Lillian Hoban  and Miss Suzy by Miriam Young with pictures by Arnold Lobel were two more favorites. The wonder and imagination used when reading is part of the lure.  One can escape into the story.

I love those books that keep you up all night...just one more chapter!
