About Me

Hello there, and welcome to the world of book treasures. My name is Stacy, and I’m delighted to see you’ve found your way here.

I, as with many people, wear many hats in day to day life – wife, mom of 2 boys, standard poodle mom, boss, employee, etc. I like to travel, crochet, craft, run, and….of course, read. My hobbies tend to trend by mood, except for reading. I decided to start this blog because words are so important to me, and books have very much helped to form my life, and I wanted a place to keep those thoughts together.

I, like most readers that I have encountered, do have my favorite genres. I lean towards fantasy, mystery, and fiction – but I enjoy wandering through many other genres as well. My husband leans towards historical fiction and non-fiction histories, as well as some horror; my oldest son largely enjoys fantasy and sports books, and the youngest prefers non-fiction and books about animals. From all of them, along with many others in my life (one of my best friends prefers sci-fi, another romance), I have been exposed to some really great books in a wide variety of genres.

This blog is a place for me to reflect on books I’ve read, and capture my thoughts on how these books influence, expand, and color my world. Perhaps more importantly it is where I get to share that discussion with you, and hear your book journey as well.

I love having company as I traverse the many worlds of literature, and I hope that you’ll enjoy our journey to explore the riches and preserve the gold nuggets we encounter along the way.

I’d love to see your comments, and please follow my Instagram feed (@booktreasures.15) or reach out to me at booktreasures.15@gmail.com.

Spread the love

  1. Hi Stacy! Just came across your blog and I am looking forward to seeing what you read next! I already purchased “Boss Up!” after reading your review. I am not looking to start my own business but that nugget #3 about being strong enough to like what you like really resonated with me.

    1. Hi Lauren! I truly hope you enjoy the read, I think pretty much everyone could use that message in this time of being so aware of how others see us through so much social media. I really think this book reaches beyond just those looking to start their own business, and I hope you’ll find you’re one of them as I did!
